Wash your hands well.

Jacob has Strep throat! Despite all efforts (handwashing, etc.) our son Jacob's sore throat turned out to be a positive Group A Strep infection. Fortunately Cindy got him to the doctor immediately and medicated. Jacob was well enough to go to school and rehearsal today.

I went to Saint Luke's Hospital today for weekly labwork and when they looked at my throat they swabbed it for a Strep culture (just in case). I also saw a pain management specialist to help with my chronic discomforts. With the right med(s) I hope to eat and sleep better.

My belly pain was better today; my mouth and throat are really sore though which makes it hard to eat well.

We heard from our friends Paul A. (from Lock Haven, PA) and Joanie (Lockwood) Smith from Cindy's home town (Tresckow, PA). It was really good to hear from them.

For those of you who live locally, the Catasauqua Press newspaper had pictures from the dress rehearsal of The Music Man advertising the upcoming show. Keara is in one of the pics; I almost didn't recognize her in full make-up and dress but her hair (as usual) gave her away. Hope everyone can get to one of the shows.
